Captain Brett Rosson is the owner and primary operator of Highliner Charters and serves as the guide for the majority of the fishing trips. Growing up Brett spent many of his weekends on charter boats and dreamt of one day operating his own. |  | Captain Paul Parker and Brett met while serving at a near by Naval Air Station. They quickly developed a friendship based on fishing, fish, and a love of boats. Paul was born and raised here in the northwest, became obsessed with fishing at an early age, and thinks of little else to this day. Lucky for us he works for a local school district which frees his summers up allowing him to pursue his true passion; killing fish! |  | Captain Jade Luckhurst is a veteran fishing guide and boat captain. He was born in Alaska and moved to the San Juan islands as a teenager. Having honed his skills here in the San Juans, Jade later returned to one of Alaska's premier resorts as a seasonal fishing guide. Lucky for us, Jade is also a dedicated family man which means he now has to stay closer to home. When he's not fishing or changing diapers, he can be found working on the Skagit river as a Fisheries Biologist. The only one who will talk fishing longer than Jade is Austin. |  | Captain Austin Forsman was born and raised in Anacortes and is the youngest member of the Highliner guide team. He's currenlty finishing his studies and plans to be a school teacher (another convenient carreer choice). Austin is by far the most fanatical about fishing, and if he's not on the ocean, he can be found fishing on one of the local lakes or rivers. Nothing keeps this guy from fishing- Nothing! |  |
